The Communicatons Institute (TCI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising the level of communication and discussion of critical issues in society.
TCI organizes conferences and symposiums that cover a myriad critical public policy issues, including economics, energy, health care, immigration and risk analysis. The Institute also accomplishes its educational mission with the Internet and through its website AnalysisOnline. Our experts disseminate information based upon objective, non-partisan academic research and analysis.
By drawing on a wide variety of sources, TCI serves as a forum and an objective and reliable resource for citizens, public officials, business and community leaders, and the media.
The Institute also conducts public policy research in collaboration with leading academic and research institutions. The research is provided to policy makers, media and opinion leaders. Current and future topics include immigration and energy. The research is also integrated into the educational programs.
The Communications Institute continues to create a consortium of highly credible and respected research and academic institutions that will provide the resources and perspectives to enhance intelligent decision making in society.
The Communications Institute was founded in 2003 by professionals with extensive experience in research and academic institutions, public policy research, the legislative process, and journalism. The Institute staff has more than 25 years of experience in conducting educational programs in economics, science, engineering, law, and communications. These programs have been attended by more than 75,000 business leaders, nonprofit executives, and journalists in the United States and Europe.
TCI, based in Los Angeles, California, is governed by a board of directors and and an advisory board comprising scholars and officials from the California Institute of Technology, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, National Academy of Engineering, the RAND Corporation, Stanford University, University of Rochester, and the University of Southern California.
