Citizens are confronted with a an increasing number of complicated issues, but often they are presented from a right wing and left wing perspective. The Communications Institute provides the public with objective information and perspectives on critical issues.

Educational Symposiums

Communications Institute symposiums have been conducted in the United States Capitol, State Capitols, and university campuses. Participants have included Members of Congress, State Legislatures, legislative and committee staff, and leaders from local government. All of the symposiums are cosponsored by nationally recognized academic and research institutions including national research laboratories. Click here for a list of previous symposiums.

Issue Backgrounders

The Institute also provides backgrounders in both print and video format for journalists. Previous topics have included health care, published with the RAND Corporation; immigration, in collaboration with Arizona State University/University of Arizona; and energy, in concert with the University of Southern California, the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and the California Institute of Technology.
